SHARJAH, UAE / RankWire.AI / – Air Arabia will launch nonstop flights between Sharjah and Gdansk on Dec. 14, 2026. The new route will link Sharjah International Airport with Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport five times each week. Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The service adds another direct UAE link for northern Poland and expands Air Arabia’s scheduled network in the country. Bookings for the new flights are already available through the carrier’s sales channels.

Air Arabia sets December start for Sharjah Gdansk route
Air Arabia expands UAE-Poland links with five weekly Sharjah-Gdansk flights.

On Mondays and Saturdays, flight G9 0628 will leave Sharjah at 4 p.m. and arrive in Gdansk at 8 p.m. The return flight, G9 0629, will depart Gdansk at 8:50 p.m. It will reach Sharjah at 6:10 a.m. the following day. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, Sharjah departures are scheduled for 8:15 a.m. Return flights will leave Gdansk at 1:05 p.m. and arrive in Sharjah at 10:25 p.m. All published times are local.

Gdansk will become Air Arabia’s fourth Polish destination from Sharjah once the announced December services are operating. The airline already serves Krakow and Warsaw Chopin Airport from its Sharjah base. Air Arabia will also launch four weekly flights to Katowice on Dec. 17, 2026. That service will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Together, the Gdansk and Katowice additions will extend the carrier’s direct Poland network beyond the country’s two cities it currently serves.

    Gdansk joins expanding Poland schedule

The Gdansk route forms part of Air Arabia’s wider European schedule from Sharjah. Its listed destinations include Milan Bergamo, Munich, Vienna, Athens, Prague, Krakow, Warsaw Chopin, London Gatwick and Rome. The carrier has also announced Frankfurt and Katowice services as additions to that network. Gdansk adds a destination on Poland’s Baltic coast and gives travelers in the Pomeranian region a direct scheduled connection with the UAE through Sharjah.

Air Arabia Group CEO Adel Al Ali said the carrier was adding Gdansk to its growing network in Poland. Gdansk Airport President Tomasz Kloskowski also confirmed the importance of the direct Sharjah connection for the Pomeranian region. The airport identified Sharjah as a transfer point for destinations in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and East Africa. Gdansk Airport serves the wider Tri-City area, which includes Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot, alongside other communities in northern Poland.

Five weekly flights connect Sharjah and Gdansk

Air Arabia operates Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft across its network. The airline has opened bookings for the Gdansk service through its website, call center and travel agencies. The published schedule assigns G9 0628 and G9 0629 to the Monday and Saturday rotations. Flights on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays will operate as G9 0626 from Sharjah and G9 0627 from Gdansk. The five weekly rotations will provide nonstop service in both directions between the two airports.

The Dec. 14 Gdansk launch will come three days before Air Arabia’s scheduled Katowice service begins. With Krakow and Warsaw already connected to Sharjah, the December additions will bring its Polish network to four cities. Gdansk passengers will have five weekly nonstop options in each direction under the published timetable. As of Aug. 26, 2026, Air Arabia continues to list the Dec. 14 launch date and the announced five-flight weekly schedule for the Sharjah-Gdansk route.
